Motivation

Its been 2 years since my last blog post.

But yet someone called out to me tonight to write again.  His name is Regular. And he is on a Road to Absolute Zero…….

I have been an avid follower of his blog since the days of myspace, when his profile picture was a plant. And his current blogspot series does not let up in providing a consistent and humorous slant on the world, that adds levity to my life.

Regular looks at the world through his own eyes, and it takes no more than 2 of his talented fingers to convey his thoughts to our ever-inquiring minds.

He does not wear a cape to work, but he has vision to see things we do not see. He does not have a magic wand but he makes smiles appear on our faces when there were none previously.  And he does not have a uniform, but he will pass you the ball with the shot clock winding down as you drive to the hoop and score the game winning basket.

For what he does have is a blog that people follow, and I am jealous. Which is why I’m writing tonight. And tomorrow, if I remember.

I am a WITness

This is not a Nike ad - it's who I am.
Everyday of my life I find out something I didn't know the day before and apparently many others took this information to be common knowledge.
I'm not stupid. I'm not naive, but the very fact that people you know know something you don't know can be intimidating and embarassing.
How am I supposed to be a leader if I don't know everything?!?

This brings me to this blog - I know nothing about it, but some people know how to make money. I follow other blogs to teach me things about the Yankees, my profession (Physical Therapy) and to read concert reviews.... so the purpose of this blog is to create a place where people can learn about feeling close to other strangers in this ridiculously overwhelming life, and that no one is truly alone, even if they are.
